Very cool! Can't decide which I like best. The second one looks like it's a complete samurai with the gloves and the helmet is cool, though the mixed use of different colored twisties on the last one makes it visually vibrant. How did you do the guard/tsuba on the swords? I'm guessing a bit of folding or bending in on itself with a few cuts to have the paper slide atop each other?

cut a tie in four places, both sides of the wire, bend four times at those cuts, wrap either end on blade/handle.

all of the twist ties look so compact, how do you get it that way? sometimes when i make models they are too loose..XP

Pliers are my second tool of trade, second only to scissors.
I wind the twist ties around a frame and press them tighter with the pliers. It really strengthens the integrity, I found. Also, through trial and error I developed a technique to the "winding"

"Winding" you say... I get the feeling I use the same technique as you do on some of my works. I kinda resorted to using needle nose pliers when my hands started growing to big and doing my TwistieCraft started hurting my hands for the really detailed portions, though it's really allowed me to do more as well.
